CTCT Skills & Training Ride

2019 is here and you’ve seen the exciting news about the CTCT Skills & Training Ride planned for the 9th and 10th February 2019. This weekend has been planned so that we all can have fun together, train together and learn new skills before the CTCT.

The Educators will have the opportunity to have a specialized coaching session, the learners will go through skills training which will bring them up to speed in terms of completing and enjoying the 2019 CTCT, and the senior riders will spend some time with a professional cyclist analyzing race strategy and techniques.

Medihelp Stellenbosch (102km) 2019

The Sports Trust Cycling Club took part in their first race of 2019. The 9 members braved the new start and finish at the breathtaking luxury lifestyle estate, Val de Vie in Franschoek, Western Cape. This event is the Western Cape’s second-largest road cycling event and will once again act as the final premier seeding event for the 2019 Cape Town Cycle Tour.

Vuyo & Vuyolwethu goes Professional!!

We started this year with amazing news that Vuyo Mavuya & Vuyolwethu Nkomo has been selected to join the Kinetic Pro Cycling Team.

This is a very proud moment for The Sports Trust and would like to wish the two cyclist all the best for this excellent opportunity.


Cyclo Sportif #1

The Sports Trust Cycling Club took part in their first Cyclo Sportif series which took part at the lovely venue for the first time called Windmeul Wine Cellar.

The Club was hard at work in the pre-season and the results below shows that hard work and dedication does pay off.
